Just one hour north of North Carolina’s capital city (Raleigh, NC) lies the small rural town of Henderson, NC. Proud and gracious of it’s rich history, culture, and once thriving with industrial factories, is now hard hit by the severe declining economy. But yet, in its midst stands a beacon of hope, “New Life Church”. Founded in 1995 by Pastor Myron Henderson Sr and wife Trina Henderson, New Life Church has become known for its outreach and compassion and “yes” its energetic and didactic church services.

 

        New Life Church's humble beginning started with just four members (Pastor’s two small children, wife, and himself) but now sits at a membership of 300 plus. To some the membership may seem small, but to know the geographical layout and the diversities of religions and beliefs, it is astonishing to see and know what God has done, and as of yet is doing. The ministry began in the rear of a local shopping center (a small storage space for catalog products) and now sits on three acres of land with edifice, and all mortgage free. While we yet seek to build again, we seek your prayers and support as we strive to make this community and its people better through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
