Our Pastor

 

       

      Pastor Myron Henderson, Sr. was born in Richmond, Virginia and some years later moved to Henderson, North Carolina where he was reared. In 1985, he relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina where he gave his life to Jesus Christ.. After years of faithful service and serving at the Upper Room COGIC, under the leadership of Dr. Patrick L. Wooden, Sr. and as a graduate of Greater NC Jurisdiction COGIC Academy, Pastor Henderson was called in pastoral ministry. He is the founder and Pastor of New Life Church in Henderson, NC, founder of New Beginnings Ministry, Roxboro, NC and New Life Outreach Ministries, Raleigh, NC. He is the husband of Evangelist Trina Henderson and the father of Myron Jr. and Myesha Henderson. Pastor Henderson's greatest joy is caring for the members of his local church, traveling about the country teaching and preaching the true Gospel of Jesus Christ as it changes lives for the Kingdom of God.

      Greetings, In this era of violence, crime, economic decline, redefining of laws to even the making of new laws, an era which seems to oppose all that is godly and scripturally true, it is astonishing how religion and humanism has taken hold to our country. We here at New Life Church are committed “not to perfection”, but embracing people to share, and teach them the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ so they can perfect a lifestyle and behavior that will cause them to prosper, be in good health, even as their soul prosper. There has to be a return back to the God of the Bible, not just dialogue and worship attendance, but being the example of a Christian whether in public or private.
